Folks, it’s been over two years in the making, but the Water Diversion learning portal (Surface Water Diversion learning portal) has been released!
The Objective
This resource compiles all of Alberta’s regulatory guidance documents associated with Water Management and supplements it with the stakeholder feedback and government clarification that Clear has received over the years of managing thousands of Water Act Diversion licenses. This update was needed to convey the changes to policy and regulation associated with water diversion to all Albertans as a way to:
Explain the current and new rules related to the diversion of High Quality Non-Saline Water (HQNS) as a means to build public confidence;
Provide a learning tool for licensees and contractors to better understand the conditions, rules and regulations associated with their operations; and
Improve compliance related to Water Management.
The Result
Clear Environmental Solutions was proud to compile the content for the update and to again work with Skeeter Media to bring it to life.
